Refund & Return Policy
Overview
At Ahsan Buy Za, we strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction with every purchase. Our refund and returns policy is valid for 07 days from the date of purchase. If 07 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition that you received it
- In the original packaging with all tags and labels attached
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase
Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of goods are exempt from being returned for health, safety, and digital rights reasons. These include:
- Food items, flowers, plants
- Newspapers or magazines
- Intimate or sanitary goods
- Hazardous materials
- Flammable liquids or gases
- Certain health and personal care items
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Customized or personalized items
Important: Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. All returns must be directed to our Cape Town facility as outlined below.
Partial Refunds
There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted:
- Books with obvious signs of use or damage
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
- Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email notification confirming receipt of your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.
If your refund is approved, it will be processed automatically to your original payment method. Please allow:
- 5-10 business days for credit card refunds to appear on your statement
- 3-5 business days for bank transfer refunds
- 24-48 hours for digital wallet refunds
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund within the expected timeframe, please follow these steps:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company - processing times can vary
- Contact your bank - there may be processing time before a refund posts

Sale Items & Exchanges
Sale Items: Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded unless defective.
Exchanges: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item:

- Send your item to our Cape Town facility
Gifts & Shipping Returns
Gifts: If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn't marked as a gift, or the gift giver shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.

You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from it.
Depending on your location in South Africa, the time for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. For expensive items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
